Float Trip

Today Josh, Jackson, and Uncle John John went floating and fishing. This was Jackson's very first float trip and He had a blast! They floated from Lanigan, MO city park on Indian Creek to Mt. Shirea near Noel, Mo to the Elk River access. On the way they caught fish, saw lots of turtles, whacked a snake with the paddle, and saw a big train go right beside the river. Josh said Jackson was just beside himself. He got so excited to see and hear such a big train. They even blew the whistle at him, which he loved!! Jackson also got to experience getting stuck in the mud. He stepped out of the canoe and went knee deep in the mud. Josh had to dig his shoe out.....I wish I could have seen that. They all had a great time!
