Enjoying the outdoors.

This weekend we took a little trip into Bella Vista to visit the Tanyard Creek Waterfall. We love the outdoors so this was a mini little hiking trip that we could take as a family. Jordan did great riding along in her "pacpack." Of course Jackson loved the hiking. We kind of made it a little scavenger hunt for him. He found several types of flowers, cactus, and rocks, crossed cute little bridges, splashed in water and mud puddles, saw fish, and even a cute little bunny rabbit. By far the waterfall was the coolest. The weather was perfect. It was nice to get out as a family and enjoy some of God's beauty.

Here is the waterfall. It was flowing pretty good. If only this picture could capture all the sights and sounds...

Here is Jackson checking out the waterfall. This is the 2nd time he has been to this spot. He really likes the sound of the water crashing down and feeling the mist from the water.

Here are the pretty little flowers we found all along the trail.

Here is a prickly little cactus. Both Josh and Jackson decided to touch it....goof balls. Also, I love the khaki hats.

Cactus in Arkansas?? Who knew?

Under this bridge was a sulfur spring. You could see where the sulfur was on the rocks and you could certainly smell it too!

Jordan and me enjoying some cuddle time as we hike.

Here is Jordan along for the ride..... just enjoying her thumb.
