Happy Halloween!

Well, our plans for Halloween got changed at the last minute. We had planned to go to a party in Harrison with our family. There was a hay ride planned, games, and a bonfire planned along with chili, hot cocoa, and caramel apple..my favorite! We were so excited about it. Friday night, we were packed up and about 30 minutes down the road and Jordan was fussy fussy. As I mentioned in my previous post, she has been having some issues. Anyway, we turned around and came home. We decided that we would leave our stuff packed and see how Jordan was doing in the morning and we could go then...same thing.... Ms. Fussy Pants. I can' t thing of anything that gets me more frazzled than riding in a car with a screaming baby, so we opted to stay home. Although Jackson and I were so sad, we ended up having a good time. Ronnie and Diana decided to drive over and keep us company. Our church had a Fall Fest on the square, so we went to that. It was a good time. Both of the kids looked absolutely adorable in their costumes. Jackson got to play games and jump in the bounce houses. Our church does a wonderful job of making this a really fun family event for the community. After we left downtown we came home and set out of foot around the neighborhood to do some trick-or-treating. Jackson filled his bucket full of candy. He got more candy than any child should consume in a years time. When we got back we made smores and got ready for bed. Overall, we had a really fun time!!

This is a rarity. Josh and I never have anyone to take our picture, so we took advantage. My blog always looks like it is all about the kids, and in lots of ways it is, but we still exist too. :o)
